The Notre Dame Men's Rowing team is incredibly fortunate to rely on the unwavering support of our oarsmen’s families, friends, and the broader Irish community. Behind every successful crew on the water is a dedicated team on the shore, and our parents are the true backbone of our race day operations.

No matter where the racing schedule takes us across the country, we can always count on a strong, traveling cohort of families ready to help manage the critical logistics of a regatta. From early morning riggings to the final heats of the day, our parent volunteers ensure the team has exactly what they need to perform at their absolute best. They establish our basecamp by setting up team tents for shelter against the elements, keep the athletes fueled and hydrated with stocked coolers and healthy snacks, and coordinate warm, hearty meals after a grueling day on the water.

This extraordinary network of on-the-ground support is an invaluable asset to our program. The time, energy, and care our parents provide goes far beyond just logistics—it perfectly embodies the Notre Dame spirit of family, community, and selfless giving.
